My 7004/8868 e-filing was rejected. How long do I have to file by paper?

If your e-filed extension (Form 7004 or Form 8868) is rejected, you can still submit a paper extension. The IRS will consider it timely if it is postmarked by the later of the original due date or within 5 calendar days of receiving the rejection notice.
