How to check the status of my extension filed?

You can check the status of your extension on the dashboard. Depending on the progress, you will find one of the below statuses.

• Incomplete - You are yet to transmit the extension
• Transmitted to the IRS - Response awaited from the IRS
• Accepted - IRS has approved your extension request
• Rejected - IRS has declined your extension request
