The file I uploaded for importing form data has errors. How can I fix them?

• If the file you uploaded is flagged for errors, click ‘View Errors’ to view them. 

• To resolve these errors, click ‘Export Errors’. The records will be downloaded as an Excel file. This will help you identify and correct the errors. 

• After making the necessary changes in the Excel file, save it and click 'Upload another file' to import the corrected file.

• We will audit your updated file to ensure its accuracy. If there are no errors, click ‘Continue Filing’ to proceed with transmitting your extension to the IRS.
