I have transmitted my extension form. What's Next?

After transmitting your extension, the IRS will review and process your forms. You will receive an email notification regarding the status of your extension, indicating whether it has been accepted or rejected by the IRS. You can also track the status of your extension from the Dashboard.

In the meantime, if you've opted for EFTPS, credit/debit card, or check/money order as your tax payment method, ensure that your payment is made before the filing deadline to avoid incurring penalties from the IRS.
