There are errors on every return that I bulk uploaded and I cannot proceed to the next page. What should I do now?

You can't move forward if all your bulk uploaded returns contain errors. You must correct them to proceed. 

Please follow the steps below to resolve the errors and re-upload the corrected file. 

• Click ‘View Bulk Upload Errors’ to view them. 

• To resolve these errors, click ‘Export Errors’. An error message will be downloaded to the Excel template that you uploaded. This will help you identify and correct the errors. 

• After making the necessary changes in the downloaded Excel template, save it on your computer and click 'Upload corrected file' to import the corrected file.

We will audit the updated file to ensure its accuracy. When there are no errors, you can proceed with transmitting your extension to the IRS.
