Actual Due date Extension Period
Corporation 4 months and 15 days following the close of the tax year  6 Month extension
Partnership (NJ-1065) 4 months and 15 days following the close of the tax year. 5-month extension
Partnership (NJ-CBT-1065) 4 months and 15 days following the close of the tax year. 5-month extension
Fiduciary 4 months and 15 days following the end of the tax year 5 ½ Month extension

How to pay the state tax due?    

You can pay your tax due using any of the following methods:

  • Pay by check/Money Order- Use Form NJ-1065 V, Payment Voucher if you’re a Partnerships, CBT-100-V, Payment Voucher if you’re a Corporations, Use Form NJ-1041-V if you’re a Fiduciary. 
  • Pay by E-Check or Credit Card
  • Pay Electronically
  • Pay by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), if the prior-year tax liability is $10,000 or more.
