Vermont doesn’t require businesses (Corporation, partnerships, S-Corporations, and fiduciaries) to file a separate Business Tax extension form if they have an approved federal extension by filing Form 7004. The extended due date will be 30 days beyond the federal extension date. A copy of your federal application should be attached to your state return when it’s filed.
If your federal extension was rejected or you didn’t apply for a federal extension, you can file a separate Vermont business tax extension.
