Wyoming State Individual Tax Extension Filing Instructions

The State of Wyoming does not have a state income tax. Therefore, individuals in Wyoming are not required to request a Wyoming personal income tax extension.

Even though the State of Wyoming does not require a personal income tax extension, the IRS still requires you to file Form 4868 by the regular due date of the return to get an additional 6-month automatic extension to file your 1040 personal income tax return.
