The State of New Hampshire does not impose a personal income tax, but it does have an Interest and Dividends (I&D) Tax. The I&D Tax applies to individuals and fiduciaries with gross interest/dividends income above a certain level.
However, individuals in New Hampshire are not required to submit a separate form requesting an extension to file. As long as you pay 100% of your I&D Tax by the original due date, you will automatically receive an extension to file your New Hampshire Interest and Dividends Tax return.
Extension Form To Use
There is no state-specific form to request an extension, as the state of New Hampshire automatically provides the extension of time for individuals to file their New Hampshire Interest and Dividends Tax return.
