What is two-factor authentication?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your ExpressExtesnion account.

Enabling this requires two forms of identification from you to access your ExpressExtension account.

For example: When you attempt to sign in to your account with 2FA enabled, you will be prompted to enter your password as usual. Then, you will be asked to provide the second factor of authentication, which may involve receiving a one-time code via the authentication app.

The main purpose of this 2FA is to make it much harder for unauthorized users to gain access to sensitive information or accounts, even if they have obtained a user's password through hacking or other means. By requiring two distinct forms of identification, 2FA adds an extra layer of security to the authentication process.
