Electronic Funds Withdrawal (EFW): To pay tax dues through EFW, you have to provide your checking or savings account information for the IRS to withdraw money from your account. The application defaults the Payment Request Date i.e., the withdrawal date to the actual date when the IRS receives your extension. For instance, if you file your extension on March 13, then the payment request date is on the same date.
Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS): To pay tax dues through EFTPS, it's your responsibility to visit their portal www.EFTPS.gov make the payment.
