Businesses operating in Idaho (C-Corporation, S-Corporation, Partnership, Fiduciary) are granted an automatic six-month extension to file Idaho business tax returns.
This extension does NOT grant you an extension of time to pay any tax you owe. If you owe state tax, make your payment by the actual due date of the return to avoid penalty and interest.
Extension Form to use
There is no state-specific form to request an Idaho extension, as the state of Idaho automatically provides the extension for up to 6 months for businesses to file an income tax return
with the state.
