Louisiana doesn’t require businesses (Corporation, partnerships, S-Corporations, and fiduciaries) to file a separate Business Tax extension form if they have an approved federal extension from filing Form 7004

Louisiana will recognize and accept the federal extension authorizing the same extended due date as the federal. A copy of your federal application should be attached to your Louisiana return.

If your federal extension was rejected or you didn’t apply for a federal extension, you can file a separate Louisiana business tax extension.
