How to check the IRS payment status of my extension filed through ExpressExtension?

If you owe tax, you can use the following payment options in ExpressExtension to make your payment to the IRS:

• Electronic Funds Withdrawal (EFW)
• Credit/Debit Card
• Check/Money Order
• EFTPS

If you've chosen to pay your tax due using the EFW payment method, your tax will be automatically debited from your account on the requested date by the IRS. You can check your bank statement to verify whether the amount has been deducted from your account. If it's been at least two weeks from the requested date and your payment hasn't been deducted as expected, we recommend calling the IRS toll-free at 800-829-1040.

For other payment methods, you are responsible for ensuring your IRS payment is made on time to avoid penalties.
