ExpressExtension Support

Find answers to your questions.
I filed my extension just before the due date cut-off. Will my extension be accepted?

The deadline to file an extension with the IRS is typically 11:59 PM on the due date, based on your registered business location's time zone, according to IRS records. ExpressExtension records the exact date and time of your transmission, which is treated as an Electronic Postmark.

If the Electronic Postmark is on or before the filing deadline and the information provided in the extension is accurate, the IRS will approve your extension and consider it timely filed. However, if the electronic postmark is dated after the filing deadline, the IRS may reject it for late filing.
